Pragmatic Play released a new Asian themed slot called Magic Journey. Magic journey offers some truly unique gameplay that I haven’t seen in any other game so far.
Magic Journey features a 3×3 score grid on the top which if you can lit up all characters, the game will reward you with a max of 400 times your bet. Each spin will roll the 1×5 reels below and show you some random warriors. Graphically the game looks good and the sound effects are also pretty good.
This game is very volatile and doesn’t actually have anything like wilds or other special features. Each spin can reveal up to 5 characters. These will then light up the scorecard. If you get a line formed you also receive a re-spin and can try to make some more lines. You also have some sort of wild and that symbol is the warrior monkey, if it lands on the reel, you’ll be awarded an extra spin.
Rewards for formed lines are :

- 2 Lines – x5 times your bet
- 3 Lines – x10 times your bet
- 4 Lines – x15 times your bet
- 5 Lines – x30 times your bet
- 6 Lines – x100 times your bet
- 8 Lines – x400 times your bet
There isn’t much to say about this game. It’s a 1 liner which can be fun for a short while, but with the low max potential and not so much going on, I guess this game is good for some quick spins but not much more.
